The Children’s Medical Fund of New York has many different ways for people to get involved.  CMF, where Corey Ribotsky is the president, has both a Men’s and a Women’s Division. The Women’s Division works throughout the year to raise money to help children in medical need.

Women who are part of this organization participate in a few major events each year including the Ladies Night Out and the Lester’s Kids’ Fashion Show.  They also have local affiliate chapters that bring neighborhoods together.

Becoming a Women’s Division member requires a donation of $2500 which is payable over the five years of the membership.  Benefits with this membership include a special rate ticket to CMF events, an Angel Wall plaque upgrade, and more.

For people and organizations that support the Children’s Medical Fund of New York, where Corey Ribotsky is the President, it’s time to take note.  On June 13^th, 2011, the Medical Fund will be hosting the 36^th Annual Golf & Tennis Charity Classic.

This annual golf and tennis classic benefits the Cohen Children’s Medical Center.  The lovely outing will include breakfast, lunch on the course, cocktail hour, dinner and an awards ceremony.  It is a great way to give to the Children’s Medical Fund while also enjoying time with friends and colleagues.

Last year’s 35^th Annual Golf & Tennis Charity Classic was at Glen Oaks Club in Old Westbury, Long Island.  The fundraiser helps to ensure that children on Long Island and in the New York area will have access to the best pediatric care available.

The NIR Group where Corey Ribotsky is the managing partner is involved in several organizations in the New York/Long Island area which benefit the community. One of these charitable endeavors is the Children’s Medical Fund of New York. The CMFNY is a not-for-profit organization which utilizes the work of volunteers from the community to raise money in support of the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York.

Help the Children’s Medical Fund of New York, where Corey Ribotsky is the President, to support children in need.  This October 20, 2010, the Children’s Medical Fund of New York is having a fashion show, called Lester’s Fashion Show.  The fashion show will take place at Old Westbury Country Club.

The Teen Youth Spirit Award will go, this year, to Sam Riese.  This award was created to recognize the amazing efforts that teenagers have put into helping CMF.

This year’s theme is “Glee-A Celebration of Music through Fashion” and will include an evening of cocktails, dinner, silent and live auctions, raffles, giveaways and a fashion show, of course.  You can even find out about modeling in the show by visiting a nearby Lester location.

On April 21, 2010, Ermenegildo Zegna marked their 100^th anniversary, and the opening of their 14^th retail store in the United States.  The cocktail reception, hosted by David Blumenfeld, chairman of the Children’s Medical Fund, benefited the Children’s Medical Fund of New York.  20% of the proceeds from the evening were earmarked for the Fund.

The cocktail reception included food from Chris Robbins of Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs.  In attendance were Corey Ribotsky, president of the CMF; Robert Ackerman, CEO and President of Ermenegildo Zegna; and Mauro Visentini, Robert Aldrich, and Jennifer Mead, all of Zegna.

The Children’s Medical Fund of New York works tirelessly to raise money for the Schneider Children’s Hospital in New York. For over 40 years, they have been working on this effort.

Started in 1966, The Children’s Medical Fund began with a group of Long Islanders who joined together to build a children’s medical facility. In 1983, their dream finally came true with the opening of the Schneider Children’s Hospital in New Hyde Park. This became New York’s first children’s hospital.

Today, The Children’s Medical Fund is the largest contributor to the Schneider Children’s Hospital, the nationally ranked children’s hospital which is now part of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. With President Corey Ribotsky, the Children’s Medical Fund will continue working towards achieving their worthy causes for children.
